Unleashed Workshop is a series of three dog photography workshops hosted by internationally award-winning pet photographers Charlotte Reeves (Charlotte Reeves Photography) and Craig Turner-Bullock (Furtography) to be held on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia from 7-24 October, 2025.
Model applications are now closed.
Requirements:
- Your dog is not aggressive towards people or other dogs
- Your dog is not stressed by busy locations and being around unfamiliar people and other dogs
- Your dog has a reasonable level of obedience and will sit on command - stay is a bonus!
- You're willing to travel to the shooting location (all within an hour of the Judique area of Cape Breton Island) and spend a few hours with a fun group of dog lovers!
You can still apply even if:
- Your dog's recall isn't the best, so they need to stay on a leash
- Your dog isn't perfectly trained or behaved!
Photo Shoot Details
We will be doing some location scouting to finalise exact locations after we arrive in Nova Scotia, so these locations are approximate only and are subject to change.
All locations will be within one hour of our home base in the Judique Intervale area of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.

Week 1 Shoots
Shoot 1 - Beach
At a beach within 40 minutes of our home base. Bonus points if your dog loves water play!

Shoot 2 - Forest
Forest location within 1 hour of our home base. Autumn foliage.
Wednesday 8th October
3:30pm - 6:30pm
Shoot 3 - Waterfall
Waterfall location within 1 hour of our home base – most likely Egypt Falls. Longer adventure, some hiking required, some steep sections.
Thursday 9th October
3:00pm - 7:00pm
Shoot 4 - Trail
Forest and walking path location, within 1 hour of our home base. Autumn foliage.
Friday 10th October
7:00am - 10:00am

What's in it for you?
First of all, you get to hang out with a bunch of dog-obsessed pet photographers as they ooh and ahh over your awesome dog!
Afterwards (no later than December 1, 2025), you will receive a complimentary collection of high-resolution digital images compiled from instructors and students. You can enjoy your images as you wish, from sharing online to printing for your home.
These are typically valued at several thousand dollars but are yours free as our way of saying THANK YOU for taking the time to donate your dog's talent and good looks to us!
