When you need to make local adjustments just to the subject, the Lightroom AI-powered masking tools are generally pretty smart and especially when it comes to subject selection, also give you a good results nearly all the time. But on the odd occasion, catastrophic failure ensues.
Since we're so used to relying on this feature now, what do we do when it doesn't work properly? 🤷🏻♀️
Going back to using a plain old brush works, but is time consuming. There's a better option though. Also AI powered, this one allows you to be a bit more specific in telling Lightroom what you want. And better communication is never a bad thing!
