Easy white balance in Lightroom
Jul 16, 2019When editing your images in Lightroom, if the dog has some white fur you can quickly and easily set the correct white balance with this simple trick.
In this video, we start off with As Shot white balance. I cycle through Cloudy, Shade and then Auto white balance using the drop-down menu. Each of these settings leaves the image looking a little green.
A better way is to use White Balance Selector eyedropper tool. Grab it from the Basic adjustments panel, then click on the image on a patch of white fur that should be pure white. Lightroom will automatically adjust the White Balance sliders for you to make that part white, so the rest of the image should also be correctly balanced.
You may need to click around with the eyedropper a few times or adjust the sliders manually to get it perfect, but it’s a great start!
