Emerge All In The Details Top 10
Jun 01, 2023Since our pets are such unique looking creatures, they will always have particular features that their owners love.
You must have heard people talk about their favourite bits of their dogs before. The weird, quirky or cute parts that make them unique. Including shots that show off those details in albums and storyboards lends more depth and meaning to your work and gives clients a beautiful reminder of what makes their dogs even more special.
We absolutely love this challenge and getting to see these unique traits of every animal. It was another seriously impressive set of submissions and narrowing down our top 10 was tough.
But here, in no particular order, are our favourite images from the All in the Details challenge.
Congratulations to the photographers!

This is super close detail every strand of fur helps create an abstract feeling of depth and movement that really holds your attention and allows you to wander through the different parts of the composition.

The exquisite colour palette makes this sleeping dog feel all soft and cozy. The eyelash detail is absolutely wonderful.

FRINKLES! Frinkles that lead you into the image and make this feel like a landscape, not a pet portrait! The various shades and tones are like sunlight falling on hills and valleys.

Look at those frog legs and that perfectly placed tail! The quirky angle and composition enhance the mood of this wonderfully whimsical details image.

The brindle 'V' really leads your eye in this image through to the tail. The depth of field has been perfectly used here to make the detail of the tail stand out against the lighter area of this doggy butt!

There's a lovely flow in this image, the curve of fur at the top and the floof on the nose perfectly frame that eye which really draws you in.
